PSYENCE is an instrumental progressive rock band from Offenburg, Germany. Inspired by bands like Tool, Karnivool, Porcupine Tree or Long Distance Calling, the band PSYENCE makes their very own mix of spherical post rock and grooving metal.

With versatile guitar sounds, fat bottom end and a tight rhythm section, the four musicians create intoxicating arcs of suspense. The almost vintage seeming instrumentation of two guitars, a bass and drums is extended by the use of samples and electronics. Complex arrangements, unusual rhythms and diverse effects give their music a very own and unique character.
